Singapore's true Cai Peng Story: Chapter 1

A man was walking in the jungles, looking at the scenaries and admiring the wildlife. All was well, he was happy, it was peaceful. However, suddenly there a lion jumped out of the bush and it roared very loudly! It looked at the man with hungry eyes and showed him his terrible sets of razor sharp teeth.

The man was very terrified and started running but the lion chased him. He ran and ran, but could not outrun the lion. Soon, he reached at a cliff and he turned around to see that the lion is just a short distance away. Just at the moment when the lion almost caught him, he saw an opportunity to escape. He jumped forward and grapped the tree vine to swing to the other side.

He swang and the vine almost reach to the other end of the cliff but it was not enough for him to let go. Hence, after a few oscillations, it stopped. The man looked back, the lion is waiting patiently for its lunch. Just when he thought things could not get worse, he looked down and saw a pit of poisonous snakes. His hands almost let go and he grabbed even tighter to the vine, trying very hard to hold on to his dear life. At least i can pray he think and looked up, then he saw this very very very cute squirrel... nimbling on the vine...

So what would u do if you are the man in the story? Would you just keep hanging on? or desperately try to swing the vine when you know its no use?

The best option... is just to let go of the rope and make a run for it... the man may not outrun the lion but if he does not let go it is definite doom.

In this story,
The lion: Bad experience/problem that might appear out of no where
The vine: An opprtunity that appears with the problem
The pit of snakes: Your fears and insecurity
The squirrel: The time you have left

Moral of the story

In life we will always face problems, at times miss the opportunity that come along with it, or even worst get stuck and unable to move on. What is important is not to give in, its over once you do that. Keep moving on and there might even be miracles!
